- Develop the highest standards of professionalism among the members
- Establish and encourage members to adhere to a uniform code of ethics standards
- Provide a strong, united voice before government bodies (e.g. State Legislature) and agencies (e.g. Real Estate Commission), thus protecting the interests of our industry and members
- Elevate, maintain, and improve member educational standards
- Serve as a forum to share information and experiences, and to solve problems
- Establish standard formsand practices
- Increase the visibility and legitimacy of our industry
- Promote public awareness ofteprofession of business brokerage, particularly the benefits derived through the use of a professional business broker by business owners
- Protect our citizens from becoming the victims of unlawful out of state brokers
- Decrease the potential for individual broker liability, and
- Serve as arbitrator for disputes among Association Members
